Notice is hereby given:
Attention Town of Throop Residents;
Due to a publication error, the public hearing originally scheduled for September 3rd 2020 by the Zoning Board of Appeals at the Town of Throop regarding Dayton Carpenter of 1919 Turnpike Road, and Robert Merritt of 7256 Lewis Road, have been rescheduled to be held October 1, 2020 at 6:30pm at the Town of Throop Highway Department. Before the Board will be a decision regarding the continuation of the Public Hearing held November 7th 2019 regarding an Interpretation of determination letter issued by the Zoning Officer.
An area variance requested by Robert Merritt Permit #2705 Appeal # 290 for property located at 7256 Lewis Road in the Town of Throop.
Local Law Section 505.01 Accessory Structures: Accessory Structures cannot exceed 1200 square feet. Mr. Merritt is requesting a variance to build a 40x64x14 post frame building. The Square footage of 2560 exceeds the amount allowed by law.
Social Distancing and face masks are required at the Public Hearing.
