The Village only accepts paper bags (PLASTIC NOT ACCEPTED) as part of our green initiative for disposal of leaves
The Village DPW will pick up brush and paper bags of leaves the last Monday in April through the last Monday in October. Brush pickup in November will be weather pending as decided by the village. Brush (no longer than 6 feet) & paper bags of leaves must be placed on the edge of the roadway by 7am that Monday but no earlier than Sunday.
Due to strict NYS DEC regulations, we DO NOT pick up garden waste, grass clippings, seaweed, dead flowers, nuts, weeds, or animal waste.
Contractors cutting down trees on privately owned property are responsible for removing the debris.
