The Town of Locke annual cleanup day will be held Saturday May 7th from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Town of Locke highway department. The event is open to all members of the Town of Locke only. Proof of residency will be requested upon entering the event. PLEASE sort materials before arriving and REMOVE all non-metal materials from scrap metal. Roll-offs will be clearly marked for specific materials.
Items Accepted: Aluminum (with glass removed), Batteries, Bed Springs, Bikes (with tires removed), Lawn Mowers (drain oil & gas), Scrap metal, Tire RIMS, Newspapers, Magazines, Corrugated Cardboard (must be broken down (flat), Couches/chairs, Empty, dry paint cans, Toys, Vinyl Siding, Wood furniture, Washers, Dryers, Stoves, Hot Water Tanks, Refrigerator/Freezers*, Air Conditioners*,
*A $15 freon discharge fee will be collected for these items
Electronics Accepted: TV sets, Computers & Components, anything with an electric cord
Items that will NOT be accepted: Household garbage, Liquid paint, Oil, Trash Recyclables, Tires
