Town of Niles
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the Town of Niles that I, the undersigned collector of taxes in and for said town, have received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Niles for the year 2022, and will attend to such collection at the Niles Town Office, 5923 New Hope Road, Moravia, NY from January 1, 2022 through March 31, 2022. My hours are Monday 9am-12pm (1/3/22-2/28/22 only), Tuesday 9am-12pm, Thursday 4pm-7pm, the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month from 9am- 12pm. The office will be closed January 17th (Martin Luther King Jr. Day) and February 21st (Presidents’ Day). Taxes are payable through February 10th without penalty. After the 10th the entire tax becomes due plus interest. The interest penalty for February 11th – February 28th is 1%. Interest for March 1st – March 31st will be 2%.
FURTHER NOTICE: Pursuant to the provision of the law the tax roll of the Town of Niles will be returned to the County Treasurer on the 1st day of April, 2022.
