Program Overview
Many communities in New York State are involved in the Cancer Services Program. This screening project is funded through federal and state funds.
The Cayuga County Cancer Services Program provides screenings to uninsured and underinsured men and women.
- Prostate cancer education is provided to men enrolled in this program.
- Women ages 40-64 can receive breast and cervical cancer screenings.
- Women and men ages 50-64 can receive colorectal cancer screenings.
Other Funding Sources
Locally, the Gary F. McLean Fund donates money annually to provide colon cancer screenings to men and women who may not qualify for the Cancer Services Program.
