brush pick up 2Leaf & Brush Pick-up

  • 4th Monday of the month April through October

The Village has gone green: leaves will only be picked up if placed in compostable paper bags (40-pound weight limit). Leaf vacuum is not available in the spring. Brush may be no longer than 6 feet. Pick up will occur on the 4th Monday of the month from April through October. Brush and bags of leaves must be placed on the edge of the roadway by 7 a.m. that Monday but no earlier than that Saturday. Due to strict New York State Department of Environmental Conservation regulations, we DO NOT pick up:

  • Plastic Bags 
  • Animal waste
  • Dead flowers
  • Garden waste
  • Grass clippings
  • Nuts
  • Seaweed
  • Weeds

Contractors cutting down trees on privately owned property are responsible for removing the debris.
