Office for the Aging Advisory Committee

Purpose & Responsibilities

The Advisory Committee for the Office for the Aging is a voluntary group of citizens that provide information, guidance, advice, and support to the Office for the Aging. Council members represent the interests of senior citizens in Cayuga County and advise on planning efforts.

Members

The Advisory Committee membership includes senior citizens from throughout the county, representatives from community agencies who also serve seniors, local elected officials, and individuals with experience in the private and voluntary sectors.The Advisory Committee meets eight times a year and participates in our Senior Citizen Day and Public Hearing.
