Danger to Recycling Workers
Sharps may be contaminated and pose a danger to recycling workers. They can also cause costly delays and equipment malfunctions during the recycling process.
Proper Disposal
To properly dispose of sharps:
- Place sharps in a puncture-proof container with a tight-fitting lid.
- Label the container with your name, address and phone number.
- Call one of the drop-off locations to arrange for someone to meet you.
