Emergency Services COVID-19 Response
Effective 3/16/2020 the EMT Original and EMT Refresher courses will be postponed for 4 weeks. Instructors are preparing plans to keep students engaged from home. More communication to follow.
There will be no in-person appointments or meetings conducted in the Emergency Services department until further notice.
NYS OFPC has extended the suspension of state fire training effective 3/24/2020 until tentatively ending on Sunday, April 19th.
The Cayuga County Office of Emergency Services is the County Government Agency charged with supporting and promoting an organized, systematic approach to Emergency Planning, Preparedness, Mitigation, Response and Recovery in the event of a natural or man-made disaster in Cayuga County.
We strive to support the day to day operations of the many Emergency Service, Public Service, Public Safety, and Emergency Management organizations in Cayuga County.
