Cayuga County Department of Human Services is always looking for families to foster or adopt children in our county.
You can apply to become a foster parent if you:
- Are at least 21 years old
- Are in good health
- Are married, single, or living with a partner
- Can make room in your heart and home for children who need safe, temporary care
- Have sufficient income to meet your own family’s needs
Foster parents receive several supports in order to help with the child's well-being.
