1799 Through 1952
Records associated with United States citizenship. Most of the earliest naturalization records contain only the name and signature of the immigrant, signatures of witnesses, and dates of naturalization or declarations of intent. More recent records have much more information, possibly including:
- Certificate of arrival
- Names and birth dates of spouses and children
- Occupation
- Picture and birthplace of applicant
