  • Provide eligibility documents for SNAP, HEAP, Temporary Assistance and Medicaid through the NYDocSubmit mobile app, which is available for download in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

NYDocSubmit Instructions

NYDocSubmit is a mobile application that allows Cayuga County applicants and recipients of Temporary Assistance, SNAP, HEAP and Medicaid to take pictures of their documents and submit them to the Department of Social Services. 

This free mobile app is available for download on Google Play or the Apple App Store. There is no need for you to take time off from work or travel to DSS to drop off documents. During this time of COVID-19 restrictions, having the ability to submit the necessary documentation from the comfort and safety of home is essential to continue supporting families in our county.
