The Records Retention Center provides centralized organization, maintenance, and secure storage for inactive and archival records of all Cayuga County Departments and Cayuga County Courts. Physical records that reside in this office remain under the custody of the department that created them. Questions about individual record series should be directed to the department of origin. Please feel free to contact this office for instruction in finding the appropriate department.
Copy fees for records held by the County Clerk are $0.65 each with $1.30 minimum charge.
The fee for a Marriage record search (years 1908-1936) is $22.00.
Copies for any other record series are $0.25 per image plus postage.
