NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON AMBULANCE CONTRACT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a regular meeting/public hearing will be held by the Sterling Town Board at the Sterling Town Hall on October 23, 2023 at 7:05 p.m. for the purpose of consideration the contract with the Village of Fair Haven for ambulance service to be furnished by the Village of Fair Haven to the fire protection district established in the Town upon the following terms,

(a) The Village of Fair Haven shall answer and attend upon all calls in the fire protection district;

(b) For such service the Village of Fair Haven shall receive, and the Town of Sterling shall pay the sum of $32,976 for 2024 District 1, the sum of $21,343 for 2024 District 2, and the sum of $8,485 for 2024 District 3, upon renewal by agreement of the Town and the Village of Fair Haven, upon renewal by agreement of the Town and the Village of Fair Haven, each sum paid within 20 days following the first day of the contract or renewal.

(c) The contract shall continue until December 31, 2024.

All persons interested in this matter shall be heard at such time and place.
