Locke is a quaint rural community located in Cayuga County, New York at the southern end of Owasco Lake and is 20 - 30 minutes from Auburn, Ithaca and Cortland.


Outstanding water bill payments will be accepted until November 16th. After that date, outstanding bills will be relevied to the 2018 County and Town tax bills.


The Town Clerk's office will be closed the week of November 19th -November 25th.

Town Board Meetings

Town Board Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of the month in the Locke Town Hall, 900 Main Street, at 7:oopm.


The 2nd Annual Locke Community Tree Lighting will be held Saturday Nov. 25th at 6:30 pm at the Gazebo.  Please join us for a community tree lighting and caroling.  Children are welcome to bring an ornament for the tree.  Cookies and hot cocoa will be provided.

Town Newsletter

Locke Town Court is in session on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month in the Town Hall, 900 Main Street at 1:00pm.

The Court Clerk is available on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month in the Town Hall from 10:00am until 4:00pm.

DA Night is in session the 1st Wednesday of the month in the Town Hall at 7:00pm.
