What is the Preventative Dentistry Program?

This program is a school-based program that provides preventive dental education, screening and parent notification and referral.

Who is able to participate in this program?

This program starts for students in kindergarten and continues in 2nd, 3rd, 6th, and 7th grades.

What does this program teach the students?

Our registered dental hygienist teaches the students how to take proper care for their teeth at their age.  Dental sealants, which help reduce tooth decay, are available to those students beginning in 2nd grade, with parental consent.

Preventive Education is  the best defense against disease, and is a learning experience with all ages of children.
