EISEP assists older people who need help with daily activities (such as bathing, dressing, cooking and shopping), who want to remain at home and are not eligible for Medicaid. The program’s case managers help older people and their families to coordinate services which may be needed in the home. These may include personal care and housekeeping aide services, respite time for caregivers and other services available in the community. If you would like to hire someone directly to provide a service, Home Helpers maintains a list of individuals who are available to provide services in your home but who are not affiliated with an agency. After your request is taken, you will be sent a list of names to choose from.
