Welcome to the Cayuga County Clerk’s Office!


  

I am extremely honored to serve as your County Clerk. My priority is to deliver excellent and efficient customer service.

The County Clerk has oversight of four departments: the Recording Office; the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV); the Records Retention Center and the County Historian’s Office.

This web site is intended to inform you of the records and services available in our office.

     Cayuga County Clerk’s Office offers the convenience of accepting MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Visa credit cards.  The payment processing company charges a service fee of 2.45% or $3.00 minimum to cardholders who use this service. 

Cardholder must be present to process charge. - See fee schedule for restrictions

Regular Hours:  9:00am - 5:00pm
Summer Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm
(Applies to July - August)

All filing/recording of documents, passports and other business must be COMPLETED at our Customer Service Counters NO LATER THAN 15 minutes prior to closing
