[ARCHIVED] Cayuga County Legislature approved $153.5 million budget for 2020

The $41.5 million tax levy constitutes a 2.25% increase over this year's level but is below the 3.3% New York State tax cap. Due to higher property assessments, the average county tax rate per $1,000 of assessed value is expected to decrease by 0.11%.
