Our Senior Nutrition Program provides Cayuga County senior residents with low cost and nutritiously sound noon-time meals at several congregate sites including the Boyle Senior Center, Schwartz Towers, Stryker Home, Moravia VFW and Fair Haven American Legion. Meals have no extra salt added and a reduced sugar diet is available upon request. This program promotes socialization and better health through improved nutrition.
Reservations
All Congregate Meal service begins at 11 AM Monday through Friday. First time participants must fill out a registration form which are available at all sites or in our office. Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance of the day you would like to attend. For more information, call the Office for the Aging Senior Nutrition Program at 315-253-1550.
Meal Contributions
Meal recipients are asked to make a contribution to help defray the costs of the meals. However, no one is denied a meal because of their inability to contribute. There is a suggested contribution of $3.50 for the meal. Contributions can be made at the meal sites or sent to our office on a monthly basis. Other family members and friends are welcome. Please note that a contribution of $11.78 will be required for those individuals under age 60.
