  2. Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention

    The New York State Department of Health recommends every child be tested at one and two years of age and assessed for risk of lead poisoning at each well-child visit up until 6 years of age.

  3. Children with Special Health Care Needs

    The Children with Special Health Care Needs program is the “umbrella” which houses Early Intervention (EI), Preschool Special Education (CPSE) and Child Find. It is also a resource and referral program for children birth through age 21.

  4. Prenatal Maternal & Child Health Services

    The Cayuga County Health Department offers a variety of free programs for pregnant women, new mothers and babies.

  5. WIC Supplemental Food

    WIC is a federally funded healthy food and nutrition program available to families in your community.
