Federal Reports for the 13th U.S. Census

These federal bulletins are publications of the results of 1909 through 1910 census inquiries for New York State and the United States. The New York State reports are concentrated in the areas of population, manufacturing and agriculture.

The series for the entire United States includes compilations of various population inquiries. The country wide surveys include information on:

  • Age and marital status
  • Color or race
  • Country of origin and year of immigration of the foreign born population
  • Nativity
  • Number and distribution of inhabitants
  • Parentage and sex
  • Population of individual counties
  • School attendance and illiteracy
  • State of birth of native population
