Cayuga County employs a professional Administrator who is a member of the International City/County Management Association. At the very core of ICMA is the mission to promote an ethical culture in local government. Adopted in 1924, the ICMA Code of Ethics defined the principles that today serve as the foundation for the local government management profession and set the standard for excellence.
